Another excellent review of our Sauvignon Blanc and Rose' wines from David Raccha,  Wine Musings Blog: "Top kosher Rose', White and Sparkling wines that I have tasted 2015" 

2014 Bat Shlomo Rose'- Score: A- (and more)   This is one of the best rose that I have tasted this year, with a few others listed here. The nose on this lovely pink colored wine is filled with crisp fruit, great strawberry and cherry. The mouth on this medium plus body fills your mouth with a rush of ripping acid, followed by ripe summer fruits, wild raspberry, crazy quince, nectarines, mad ripping grapefruit, intense lemon, and crazy acid that dominates, followed by a rush of saline and intense crispness that makes u have to smile. The finish is long and spicy, with clean slate finish, nice nutmeg and straw. BRAVO!!!!

2013 Bat Shlomo Sauvingon Blanc- Score: A- This is one old school Sauvignon Blanc kind of wine, it has a bit of tropical fruit, but this is clean and dry and more straw and earth than fruit, just the way I crave my whites! BRAVO!Also, if you unwrap the bottle to not be shocked by the stopper – it is a glass stopper that can be reused many times on other bottles, so do not toss them!!!The nose on this wine is ripping with citrus and acid, straw, asparagus, gooseberry, straw, hay, ripe peach, kiwi, and nice spice. The mouth on this medium bodied wine is ripping with lovely acid, more lovely spices, an almost pily and lovely textured mouthfeel, nutmeg, followed by yellow grapefruit, green apple, with crazy lemon, lemon curd, and pith that goes forever. This is a wine that perplexes and delights, it tastes sweet from the ripe fruit, but bone dry from the earth, mineral, slate, and overall makeup. The finish is long and pithy with great nectarine, orange notes and more pith wrapped with mineral, slate, and earth. BRAVO!!!

Our Sauvignon Blanc 2013 receives yet another raving score from international wine critic, Mark Squires for Robert Parker

We are proud to share the latest Robert Parker scoring of our Sauvignon Blanc 2013 of 89! A remarkably high score for a white wine.

Mark Squires writes, “This is quite a charmer this year. More obviously Sauvignon than in some vintages, the aromatics are still carefully controlled…. it has a fresh and lively feel that makes it a great, warm weather wine. Pure in flavor and finishing with Sauvignon character, it drinks extremely well and becomes quite delicious.” He concludes with “It is one of my favorites in Bat Shlomo's series of Sauvignon Blancs.

Betty's Cuveé 2012 receives a remarkable score from international wine critic, Mark Squires for Robert Parker

We conclude 2014 humbled as our Betty’s Cuveé 2012 receives a remarkable score of 90 from Mark Squires for Robert Parker’s 'The Wine Advocate', international leading wine critics.

The reviewer, Mark Squires, calls the wine “sexy but polished”. He notes “[The wine], showing finesse, a tightly-wound mid-palate and fine focus, the moderate tannins support the fruit well and it finishes with a nice flavor medley.” He goes on to say “The most important part about this wine, however, is its fine balance in general terms. It doesn't open as some beast impressing you with its size. It develops a more refined feel to it and it keeps getting better.” Squires concludes, “This is a nice offering that is impressive in many respects. It will be good to fool your friends with this, because they sure won't be guessing Israel."

For us, at Bat Shlomo Vineyards, 2014 was a very exciting year. Our Vintner’s Club was launched, countless fabulous restaurants continue to add us to their premier wine lists and we introduced our first red wine, Betty’s Cuveé joining our outstanding selection of fine white wines.

Revisiting Israeli Wines, VI Magazine

[O]verall, the Bat Shlomo were the crowd pleasers. The 2012 and 2013 Chardonnays are markedly different from one year to another. I still like the 2012 as much as I did when tasting it in Israel. The 2013 needs a little more time to settle in the bottle, but is indeed promising as well. The Sauvignon Blanc was very popular... As with the whites, the Betty’s Cuvee from Bat Shlomo was quite good as well. Given that we tasted a tank sample in Israel, it was nice to taste the final product. Very good wine and it contributes to Bat Shlomo having one of the best overall lines of wines of anything we tasted while in Israel.
